Broadly, I am a student and a teacher of evolutionary mythology
There exists a Tree, a branching pattern, which began about four billion years ago. You grew out from this tree, as did I, as did every creature you’ve ever touched, and every meme you’ve ever shared, and every seed you’ve ever planted, and every prayer you’ve ever sung, and every bite of food you’ve tasted, and every emotion you’ve ever felt. We all come from this same source. The rabbis of antiquity, and the biologists of modernity, have both called it the same name, in different languages: The Tree of Life, עץ חיים. There is a true story to be told about how this tree has grown, and how we continue to grow with it. I have dedicated my life to telling that story.
